Fast forward: personal metros, flying taxis – tomorrow’s transport today

Urbanloop, Hyperloop, Volocity… Weird names for strange machines we might one day use for getting around – some sooner than you might think!

Problem?

Moving people and stuff from one place to another is the second biggest creator of carbon dioxide (CO2), the main greenhouse gas behind global warming. But there are lots of good reasons for us to continue travelling and transporting things.

Solution!

More and more people are working on ways to get us around fast, safely and comfortably in ways that don’t burn oil but use electricity, which can be generated cleanly from the sun and wind – and some don’t even need much of that.
